Early lead gives COLORADO CRUSH 16A easy victory over Pony Express 16, 15-2

COLORADO CRUSH 16A refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Pony Express 16, recording a 15-2 victory on Saturday at Erie West.

With 15 runs in the first three innings, COLORADO CRUSH 16A left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Jesse Smith, an RBI single by Kourtney Kellogg, an error, and an RBI single by Karlee Arnold during the first inning and an RBI single by Emily Moore, a two-run double by Smith, a groundout by Skylar Higens, an RBI single by Lexi Christopher, and an RBI double by Arnold in the second inning supplied the early offense for COLORADO CRUSH 16A.

Smith racked up three RBIs on two hits for COLORADO CRUSH 16A.

Christopher recorded the win for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She allowed two runs over three innings. She struck out two, walked three and surrendered four hits.
