Early lead gives COLORADO CRUSH 16A easy victory over the Warrior Wolfpack, 13-1

COLORADO CRUSH 16A shut the door early on the Warrior Wolfpack, capturing a 13-1 victory on Sunday at Erie East.

With eight runs in the first three innings, COLORADO CRUSH 16A left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A two-run triple by Jesse Smith, an RBI triple by Cassidy Blakeley, and an RBI single by Skylar Higens during the first inning supplied the early offense for COLORADO CRUSH 16A.

Smith had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A got the win thanks in large part to Sterling Martin's dominant, eight-strikeout performance. Martin allowed one earned run on two hits and no walks over five innings.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A's Higens, Smith, Miranda Davis and Blakeley combined for nine hits and seven RBIs.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A built upon its lead with four runs in the third. A clutch hit into a fielder's choice scored Smith to open the scoring in the frame.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A added five more runs in the top of the fifth. A bases loaded walk scored Davis for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Higens' single, scoring Emily Moore.

Sterling Martin leads COLORADO CRUSH 16A to 7-1 victory

Sterling Martin was strong at the plate and in the circle in carrying COLORADO CRUSH 16A to a 7-1 victory over Majestics on Saturday at Erie East.

Martin had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. She doubled in the second and third innings.

Martin's four strikeouts helped COLORADO CRUSH 16A to the victory. Martin allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk over five innings.

Seven runs in the opening three innings allowed COLORADO CRUSH 16A to easily put away Majestics. A two-run single by Cassidy Blakeley and a groundout by Skylar Higens during the first inning and a two-run error in the second inning fueled COLORADO CRUSH 16A's offense early.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A increased its lead with two runs in the third. The inning looked promising, as Lexi Christopher singled, scoring Kourtney Kellogg to kick things off. That was followed up by Martin's double, plating Christopher.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A outlast WS Insanity 16 in high-scoring affair, 9-8

Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as COLORADO CRUSH 16A outscored WS Insanity 16 9-8 in four innings.

The teams banged out 21 hits hits between them, as well as four for extra bases.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the second, with five lead changes.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A finally managed to grab the lead after a strong second inning. COLORADO CRUSH 16A scored on an RBI single by Skylar Higens off #86, bringing home Jesse Smith.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A held off WS Insanity 16, as WS Insanity 16 was unable to overcome a four-run third inning deficit.

WS Insanity 16 scored three runs in the third on two singles. Unfortunately, WS Insanity 16 wasn't able to take the lead back.

Even though Smith allowed eight runs over four innings she still recorded the victory. She struck out five, walked four and surrendered 10 hits.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A was sparked by Emily Moore and Cassidy Blakeley, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first. COLORADO CRUSH 16A's offense woke up as Miranda Davis singled before Moore tripled, plating Davis. COLORADO CRUSH 16A then tacked on more runs when Moore scored on an RBI single by Blakeley and Blakeley scored on an RBI single by Kourtney Kellogg.

WS Insanity 16 quickly matched COLORADO CRUSH 16A's strong inning with a four-run inning of its own in the first. WS Insanity 16 scored on a groundout by #86, an RBI single by #99, an RBI single by #5, and a two-run home run by #6.

The lead was COLORADO CRUSH 16A's to lose after second inning. More runs came home on two hit into a fielder's choices and a wild pitch.

With 15 runs in the first three innings, COLORADO CRUSH 16A left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

An RBI single by Jesse Smith, an RBI single by Kourtney Kellogg, an error, and an RBI single by Karlee Arnold during the first inning and an RBI single by Emily Moore, a two-run double by Smith, a groundout by Skylar Higens, an RBI single by Lexi Christopher, and an RBI double by Arnold in the second inning supplied the early offense for COLORADO CRUSH 16A.

Smith racked up three RBIs on two hits for COLORADO CRUSH 16A.

Christopher recorded the win for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She allowed two runs over three innings. She struck out two, walked three and surrendered four hits.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A pounded Pony Express 16 pitching, as seven hitters combined for 14 hits, 10 RBIs and 11 runs scored.

Error proves costly as Heat 18A (Siemer) falls to COLORADO CRUSH 16A, 5-1

Three first-inning runs helped COLORADO CRUSH 16A to a 5-1 win over Heat 18A at ASP B1 on Sunday.

Jesse Smith was a workhorse in the circle while bagging the win for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. Smith pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, eight hits and four walks while striking out four.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A pushed across one run in both the sixth inning and the Seventh. In the sixth, COLORADO CRUSH 16A scored on an RBI single by Miranda Davis, plating Cassidy Blakeley.

In the sixth inning, Heat 18A pushed across its only run of the day on a sacrifice fly by S Lewis.

Jesse Smith clubbed two home runs to carry COLORADO CRUSH 16A to a 16-4 win over ProSwing at ASP B2 in five innings.

Smith racked up eight RBIs on three hits for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She homered in the first and fourth innings and singled in the fifth inning.

Six runs in the opening three innings allowed COLORADO CRUSH 16A to easily put away ProSwing. A three-run home run by Smith and a groundout by Kourtney Kellogg in the first inning and a groundout by Miranda Davisduring the second inning supplied the early offense for COLORADO CRUSH 16A.

Lexi Christopher got the win for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She allowed four runs over 3 2/3 innings. She struck out one, walked five and surrendered four hits.

Jesse Smith drove in four runs, helping COLORADO CRUSH 16A to a 7-3 victory over Loveland Rage 18A on Sunday at ASP B2.

She homered in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

Sterling Martin picked up the win for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. Martin pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs, six hits and three walks while striking out five.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A went up for good in the first, scoring three runs on A three-run home run by Smith.

After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the second, Loveland Rage 18A faced just a 3-2 deficit. An error and an RBI single by #24 fueled Loveland Rage 18A's comeback. Finally, Martin got #5 to fly out to end the threat.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A added three more runs in the top of the seventh. Smith kicked things off with a single, scoring Emily Moore.

Offenses dominate as COLORADO CRUSH 16A outscores New Mexico Bombers 12-9

The bats were busy at ASP B4 on Saturday, and when the dust cleared COLORADO CRUSH 16A had a 12-9 win over New Mexico Bombers in four innings.

The two teams combined for 18 hits in the game.

Jesse Smith racked up four RBIs on one hit for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She homered in the second inning.

Lexi Christopher got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed four runs over two innings. Christopher struck out one, walked three and gave up four hits.

The game's last lead went to COLORADO CRUSH 16A thanks to a first inning rally that saw three runs cross the plate on an error, a fielder's choice, and a groundout by Skylar Higens.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A tacked on another seven runs in the second.Miranda Davis started the inning with a single, bringing home Karlee Arnold. That was followed up by Smith's blast, bringing home Cassidy Blakeley,Sterling Martin and Davis.

Three runs in the bottom of the second helped New Mexico Bombers close its deficit to 10-4. A three-run home run by #26 gave New Mexico Bombers life. #9 to end the New Mexico Bombers threat.

Three runs in the bottom of the third helped New Mexico Bombers close its deficit to 10-7. An RBI single by #88 and a two-run single by #26 triggered New Mexico Bombers' comeback. Sam Hardy ended the inning by getting#18 to ground out.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A piled on two more runs in the top of the fourth. A passed ball scored Smith for the inning's first run.

After pushing across two runs in the bottom of the fourth, New Mexico Bombers faced just a 12-9 deficit. An RBI single by #17 and an RBI single by#6 set off New Mexico Bombers rally. Finally, Hardy got #88 to fly out to end the game.

Saturday was a day Sterling Martin will remember forever as Martin threw a no-hitter in COLORADO CRUSH 16A's 10-0 victory over CS Thunder 18 .

No CS Thunder 18 (Schroeder) batter was able to locate Martin's pitches during the game. Martin threw a no-hitter, striking out three batters and walking two while recording her momentous feat. She got #7 to strike out for the final out of the game.

The offense exploded for the COLORADO CRUSH 16A in the third. In the inning COLORADO CRUSH 16A scored nine runs.

Jesse Smith reached base three times. She scored one run and had two RBIs. She singled in the third inning.
