No-hitter leads COLORADO CRUSH 16A past Magic 16U (Romero) 7-3

Eighteen batters couldn't locate Jesse Smith as Smith threw a no-hitter on Saturday, in COLORADO CRUSH 16A's 7-3 victory over Magic 16U .

No Magic 16U (Romero) batter was able to locate Smith's pitches during the game. Smith threw a no-hitter, striking out four batters and walking five while recording her momentous feat. She got Alyssa Yoshida to fly out for the final out of the game.

Brooke Doumer reached base two times in the game for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She scored two runs and had one RBI. She singled in the fifth inning.

The bottom of the second saw COLORADO CRUSH 16A take an early lead, 1-0. Cassidy Blakeley kicked things off for COLORADO CRUSH 16A with a single. A single by Kourtney Kellogg then moved Blakeley from first to second.

COLORADO CRUSH 16A stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fifth, scoring four runs on A groundout by Emily Moore and two singles.
