Jesse Smith came up big at the dish and on the rubber, leading COLORADO CRUSH 16A to a 9-0 win over Diamonds Red 16U on Saturday at Spring Park one.
Smith racked up three RBIs on three hits for COLORADO CRUSH 16A. She singled in the first inning, tripled in the third inning, and doubled in the fourth inning.
COLORADO CRUSH 16A's Smith kept Diamonds Red 16U off the scoreboard for all five innings she was on the hill. She pitched a shutout, allowing no runs on five hits while striking out five.
COLORADO CRUSH 16A blew out Diamonds Red 16U thanks to 13 hits, including four extra base hits. COLORADO CRUSH 16A scored four runs in the fourth on A two-run double by Smith, an RBI single by Skylar Higens, and an RBI single by Sterling Martin.
