COLORADO CRUSH 16U can't stop DC Jets' sixth inning rally in 7-4 loss

DC Jets took the lead in the sixth inning, and COLORADO CRUSH 16U was unable to muster a comeback, losing 7-4 in seven innings on Sunday at Ponderosa .

It was a good day at the plate for COLORADO CRUSH 16U's Emily Moore. Moore went 2-3 and scored two runs. She singled in the second inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Sterling Martin pitched lights out for COLORADO CRUSH 16U. Martin gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during her three innings of work.

The top of the first saw COLORADO CRUSH 16U take an early lead, 2-0. COLORADO CRUSH 16U's rally started when Jesse Smith singled.

DC Jets stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the sixth, scoring seven runs on two doubles, a two-run triple by PlayerF, and a wild pitch.
