A Sweet 16 Birthday!

MIRANDA DAVIS celebrated her Sweet 16 Birthday Vegas Style!! After a long day on the field the girls all gathered for a special dinner. The Luxor Hotel's international style buffet provided the girls a "dining around the world" experience. Plates were filled with Chinese, Mexican, Italian and American fare. The desert bar proved to be a favorite stop on the edible journey with the girls making multiple trips to sample sweet offerings. The evening was filled with smiles, giggles and the handsome Texas college rugby team serenading Miranda!

COLORADO CRUSH 16U falls to Storm 16U 4-2 in spite of Smith's performance

Jesse Smith did all she could to give COLORADO CRUSH 16U a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Storm 16U, as COLORADO CRUSH 16U lost 4-2 in four innings at Dodger on Sunday.

Smith racked up two RBIs on two hits for COLORADO CRUSH 16U. She singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.

Smith leads COLORADO CRUSH 16U to 11-6 win over American Pastime '98

Saturday was a great day for Jesse Smith, as she hit two home runs to carry COLORADO CRUSH 16U to an 11-6 victory over American Pastime '98 at Anaheim in five innings.

Sterling Martin got it done in the circle on the way to a win. She allowed four runs over two innings. She struck out none, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Kourtney Kellogg, Smith, Karlee Arnold and Miranda Davis helped lead COLORADO CRUSH 16U. They combined for nine hits and eight RBIs.

The top of the first saw American Pastime '98 take an early lead, 3-0. #22 got things going for American Pastime '98 with a single. #33 doubled, bringing home #6. The scoreboard lit up again for American Pastime '98 when scored on a sacrifice fly by #44 and scored on an RBI single by #8.

The lead stayed with COLORADO CRUSH 16U after the first, when it scored five runs on a two-run home run by Smith, a passed ball, a groundout by Brooke Doumer, and an RBI single by Arnold.

One run in the top of the second helped American Pastime '98 close its deficit to 5-4. An error gave American Pastime '98 life. Finally, Martin got #8 to fly out to end the threat.

COLORADO CRUSH 16U answered American Pastime '98's top inning with five runs of its own in the second. COLORADO CRUSH 16U scored on A three-run home run by Smith and a two-run triple by Arnold.

After pushing across two runs in the top of the third, American Pastime '98 faced just a 10-6 deficit. A two-run error fueled American Pastime '98's comeback. #11 grounded out to end the American Pastime '98 threat.

COLORADO CRUSH 16U take out Fusion '97 16U with help from Arnold, 8-4

Karlee Arnold had three RBIs, helping COLORADO CRUSH 16U to an 8-4 victory over Fusion '97 16U on Saturday at Wrigley.

She singled in the second inning and doubled in the third inning.
Lexi Christopher got it done on the rubber on the way to a win. She allowed four runs over four innings. She struck out four, walked five and surrendered three hits.

COLORADO CRUSH 16U falls 8-0 to Firecrackers 16U (Kay) despite Smith's effort

COLORADO CRUSH 16U lost 8-0 to Firecrackers 16U (Kay) Saturday at Wrigley despite Jesse Smith's two-hit day at the dish.

Sterling Martin baffled Firecrackers 16U , striking out three batters. Martin allowed two earned runs on eight hits and three walks over four innings.

#16, #55 and #8 helped lead Firecrackers 16U . They combined for six hits and five RBIs.

Firecrackers 16U added six more runs in the bottom of the second. A passed ball scored #99 to start the scoring in the inning. That was followed up by #7's single, scoring #73.

Despite hit advantage, COLORADO CRUSH 16U drops 4-3 game to Bombers 16U (Manny)

COLORADO CRUSH 16U lost 4-3 in five innings at Wrigley on Saturday, despite outhitting Bombers 16U (Manny) four to three.

Sterling Martin looked sharp on the mound. Bombers 16U managed just three hits off of Martin, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during her 2 2/3 innings of work.

Bombers 16U didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the first inning when it scored on a walk by #15.

Bombers 16U tacked on another three runs in the second. A bases loaded walk scored #33 for the inning's first run.

A two-run fourth inning helped bring COLORADO CRUSH 16U within two. An RBI double by Skylar Higens and an RBI single by Emily Moore triggered COLORADO CRUSH 16U's comeback. Finally, #33 induced an inning-ending fly out from Karlee Arnold.

One run in the top of the fifth helped COLORADO CRUSH 16U close its deficit to 4-3. An RBI single by Lexi Christopher set off COLORADO CRUSH 16U rally. Bombers 16U closed the game out when #33 got Jesse Smith to fly out.
