Cassidy Blakeley was hot from the plate for COLORADO CRUSH 16U. Blakeley went 1-2. She singled in the first inning.
Jesse Smith was a workhorse in the circle for COLORADO CRUSH 16U. Smith pitched six innings and allowed three earned runs, nine hits and four walks while striking out four.

Smith went a perfect 2-2 at the plate for COLORADO CRUSH 16U. She doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the sixth inning.
Texas Blaze 16U didn't relinquish the lead after scoring one run in the first inning when it scored on a sacrifice fly by #7.
Texas Blaze 16U increased its lead with five runs in the fourth. The inning looked promising, as #8 singled, plating #11 to kick things off. That was followed up by #73's single, scoring #14.
A one-run fifth inning helped bring COLORADO CRUSH 16U within five. An RBI single by Katie Templeton triggered COLORADO CRUSH 16U's comeback. #11 ended the inning by getting Skylar Higens to.

PONY EXPRESS ROCKY MOUNTAIN SHOWDOWN 16U
Crush takes 2nd Place Silver Bracket in the Pony Express Rocky Mountain Showdown 16U Tournament! Going 2 - 3 in pool play didn't stop the Crush. They started bracket play off vs an opponent they have never faced before...their sister team Crush 16U LaPolla! It was a bitter sweet battle that went back and fourth the entire game. From there Crush moved through bracket to face off with Psyclones Silver 16U Hladik in the championship game. Great ball was played by both teams with Crush turning 2 double plays to show a strong defense. It was a tight ball game through 7 innings; Crush 1 Psyclones 2.

TC POWER POOL INVITE!
Crush receives invite to POWER POOL!! It was a great team effort on both offense (the bats were HOT!) and defense that got the attention of Triple Crown. The girls have developed new rivalries with a couple 16U teams and once again they faced off at the TC Spring Stampede. These match ups are always thrilling to watch. Congratulations girls!

ST PADDY'S DAY BLAST LAS VEGAS
Crush Girls show well in Vegas at the St. Paddy's Day Blast! The girls held California Firecrackers (Brashear) 1-3 and beat LV Blast 4-2 in pool play. Firecrakers won the tournament and LV Blast took 2nd in the left side bracket. Unfortunately Crush was knocked out by OC Batbusters in a 1-7 loss. While the score doesn't reflect the intensity of the game, the Batbusters acknowledged the Crush gave them quite a challenge on the dirt. As one Batbuster fan stated "Man the Crush really took the wind out of their sails!"
